Booked Lowering Springs For My Fabia VRS

Featured Replies

Got it booked in next week to get the approved lowering springs done. £276 including VAT Fitted From The Dealer! I test drove the the fabia with them on before I bought mine but didn't have much of a drive in it. anyone tried it and got any comments on it? thanks. ive done 350 miles in my beast now and loving every minute of it

Nice one. I was quoted nearly 100 quid more to have them fitted.

The ride is harder than stock but not by any means unbearable or rock hard. It corners much flatter and is more composed. It's how I wanted to car since picking it up.

It also looks miles better than stock, filling the archs out.

Good move mate.

thanks pal. well its all go. will be fitted next week.

I didn't notice much difference in terms of comfort, but any you might feel is more than made up for by the improved handling

definatly a step forward in my opinion, and my standard shocks have survived them for 16k now without issues :)

Which dealer has quoted that price? Might be tempted with that

That does seem a good price.... My arm might even get twisted at that cost....

Lookers skoda in Stockport quoted me that.

Even local, perfect

Damn. Bit far from me. Wonder if my local one might be competitive?

Will they be doing alignment as well afterwards?

I would ask also if they are doing alignment at that price.. Probably the the most important part of the fitting.  it's normally between £40 and £60.
