Im looking to buy a jet wash. Have a budget of about £100. What do you guys recommend? Also what about snow foam and lance?

+1 ^^^^^ Nilfisk are very good. I've had one of the more expensive ones for years. There's loads of snowfoam lances on ebay

Snowfoam wise majifoam gets good reviews but is fairly expensive. I use valetpro which is good value and decent stuff. The only problem I've found with it is it separates out when cold so I just store it inthr house now. About an inch in the bottom of the bottle then top up with warm water, turn the lance to - as far as it'll go and you'llget nice thick foam. Make sure you run some plain water through the lance after as theres a gauze filter that gets blocked up over time.

Cleanyour car are very good-I use them alot....but you can get carried away!

Hi Chris, what's the craic with snow foam? Should I be doing this?! Is there a thread here on it? (Probably is, blind man here!)

Snow Foam is basically a pre wash cleaner that aids in the removal of larger dirt particles before you power wash it off and Shampoo the car

I can vouch for a Nilfisk, got one for Christmas, is really good.

And definitely get your lance on the detailing world group buy that Chris put a link to. Best lance you can get in my opinion. Then use whatever snowfoam you like really. I like Autofinesse Avalanche, Magifoam or Kleenfreaks snowfoam.

I use and really Like Valet Pro pH neutral Snow Foam..

Good cleaning power and cheap to buy

Always worth looking at the cost difference between 500ml of Snowfoam and five litres guys.

You'll be surprised how little it is. Plan ahead a little and your cost may well go from £10.00 for 500ml to £2.50 or less per 500 ml.

Sorry to jump in, May well look to get one of the Nilfisk pressure washers recommended. How many treatments would 500ml of foam do, and were outside of the DW forum group buy can you get a good deal on the lance/fittings and foam ?

If fitting a Snow Foam lance...you need a Lance with the Nilfisk fitting...you mention this when ordering

It comes with a foam sprayer and bottle. Are these not suitable, or not very good, or am I missing something ?

No..It wont work..

These are just for applying Car Shampoo...They do not produce foam like a pucker Foam Lance does

Well...it looks like my proportions didn't work then as I know now that I have wasted the whole 500ml boolte on my first wash...Not sure what went wrong there... :think:  :think:
