Tales of 3+ month wait for factory fit options - Yikes

So can I get a standard Greenline with dealer fit cruise?

Pretty sure it can, someone recently had it fitted to a vRS, was around £300 iirc.

Don't think there's any delays on any cars other than the vRS and that only 3-4 months.

It can be done, and was for one lucky chap, but my dealer won't do it until it is authorised by SUK, for which there is no forecast at all.

£375 without discount card which the member from here had on the link Oldfellah posted so, £195 extra on top of the factory fit price or about £2.12 per waiting day.

Called into main steeler this evening where sales said dealer fit cruise was no problem as they have done this previously. Factory fit price is £ 180 so I will see what the deal is.

That £180 is from the accessories brochure for pre-MQB cars.

Generally dealer fit is more expensive than factory fit.  I'm with Telboy5 though - I'd guess something north of £300 all in.

Main steeler said dealer fit cruise no problem and they have already done one.

 

However after some haggling I'm looking at an Elegance so cruise is standard.
