Yes it will work with maxidot and iPhone. Although it won't show on the Bolero from what I can remember

Presumably therefore, operation of phone is via MFSW? Which is fine for me, I think? As have MFSW though not with the phone button. Not too worried about visibility on the Bolero so long as works with MFSW. Any thoughts?

I don't have MFSW I just used the buttons on the stalk to flick through PB and answer the phone

It doesn't show on the Bolero like the black modules. Do you have maxidot?

No not yet . Trying to find a maxi dot cluster . Won't it search the contacts etc on the bolero ?

No it only shows contacts on maxidot. The rsap modules show on both

It won't show in the newer maxidot if it supports only the older DDP communication protocol. If it is one of those older maxidot only modules, that will then mean it can only work in a pre FL.
