Because you can.

in the pipeline rob?

actually.... if it could be put on taller shocks and chunky tyres.... it would look a proper off roader..

from the same website -

translation of the blurb under it via google translate (thus its a bit literal and ropey...) :

A skoda Bentley R8?

I ERKO R2 - Czech designer wants a modern Škoda 110 R to build on the foundations of the Audi R8. He proposed auto components assembled from VW. Design refers to the legendary Czech sports car 130 RS. ERKO is designed for small batch production chassis Audi R8. The components come from vehicles, Audi, Seat, Skoda or Lamborghini. It has devised so that the R8 will replace the body, the lights are out and Bentley seat of the Octavia RS, the steering wheel of the Seat. Rebuilding will therefore be relatively simple. The basic version of the R8 under the hood the eight-cylinder 4.2-liter (316kW / 430koní)!

Petr Novague now looking ten rich people who worked with him in the project will go crazy and we'll keep our fingers crossed whether it will soon find.

Just read the actual english lower down...
