Hi all after at last getting back in to a vrs I have the no speedo and fuel gauge problem replaced the speed sensor ( the whole unit ) still the same it's soooooo annoying so was thinking of trying some other clocks ?? Thanks in advance

The immobiliser is in the cluster, to swap the cluster you need VCDS, the 4 digit SKC for both your cluster and the donor cluster plus you need to copy all the adaptions and coding from one cluster to another.

Try removing fuse 15, everything may work then but with the caveat that the clock will reset everytime you take out the key.
