2011 fabia electrical failure

Featured Replies

hi folks , tonight ive had a fairly major electrical failure on my fabia

no electric windows , no central locking no dash ilumination ,no side lights , no wipers

no interiour light , no tail light .ive checked the fuses and all look fine , but all the items not working

are on seperate fuses so cant all fail at once .

anyone else had any similar issue ?

the car is 2011 fabia monte carlo diesel , any advise much appreciated

Have you checked the battery to make sure everything is tight?

yeah checked that ,the car would start and drive no probs

as the car is still under warranty my gf called the local dealer and they couldnt look at it for a week but

suggested skoda road assist as the car couldnt really be driven with no indicators or wipers in the rain, guy came out within an hour plugged in his laptop and had to 'reboot' the electronics . 15 mins later all sorted , guy says hes seen a few with this problem .i was surprised as the car has only done 22k miles

anyone else had this problem ?
