Hi still struggling getting handbrake garage replaced piston shoes aren,t worn but garage cant get no handbrake with cable fully adjusted so i want to get new drums, shoes and new spring kit. I had new shoes fitted a few months back but are there two types? because i have a feeling the wrong ones have been fitted as its got new cables and still no handbrake. Any info on part numbers etc greatly appreciated so i can order on line. Skoda Octavia 1.9 tdi engine code ALH 2002 .

I would tell you what i have, but they are still in the boxes awaiting fitting... havent had time to get them changed yet.

ordered off ECP though, filtering down results by full spec on my car.

if you try doing that, and see what you get left with vs what you currently have, spec and sizes etc, might shed some light?

 

or.. post up what part no you have and spec etc if you can, easily do a quick check of suitability..
