Bi-xenon lights, should they wobble?

Featured Replies

Never had bi-xenon lights before, but on my FL yeti they seem to wobble slightly if driving over ( although do try to avoid) the many potholes around Herefordshire. Is this normal?

Mine do that to - I presumed it was just the self-levelling function detecting the movement of the car on the uneven surface, and trying to compensate.

Well I wondered about that too, seems like this is normal then if yours are similar.

Yes, it's normal. I think it's more to do with the sharply defined edges to the light pattern you get with Xenons. It's easier to perceive the vibration over bumps with the sharp edge as a line of reference.

Thank you Nick P, and so eloquently explained. ;)
