Hi. Re: my Skoda Fabia 1.4 dti 2009. I get a loud "shriek" like noise when I let the clutch out in 1st gear. 1st only and just for a few seconds as the clutch bites. If I pull away idling there is no noise. Any ideas?

Could it be that its the pressure plate and spring assembly, resonating at the bite point. The Yeti diesel does this.
