hey buddy , what was up with the way it first fitted?

 

mine sit's a little low at the rear and i will be having a go at raising it so it is more closer to the cut out top in rear bumper   

Mine sits low, Need to jubilee clip it up a bit. Did this before, but then changed the rubber Y mount and never re did it.

mine was sitting low the bloke at garage cut the bracket re welded it now sits lovely bowders

Now that is a good idea.....

 

Mind you did he do both brackets on the rear box as the bracket just past rear beam starts to compress the rubber and press against the underside of car. 

yer and he tack welded the fitting kit too

Mines sits right the way up.. sometimes when i start thew car from cold i can hear the tip touching on the back bumper lol :P

I had the same problem with my Jetex. Contacted them direct and they didn't want to know, but gave me permission (wouldn't affect warranty) to bend the brackets.

This coupled with a modified Y hanger gave me a great result. Almost too good, at certain revs it does catch the bumper a touch but it's a small sacrifice that I'm willing to live with!

Just fitted mine today and I'm very happy with the results. Looks and sounds awesome :-).

Mine sits a little low at the back, had it cable tied up, but had to cut it yesterday as it was rattling on a heatshield now and again, and it was doing my head in.

Might try a new rubber Y mount now?

It's only been on 4 hours and I already love it!!!! Perfect fit too :-) nice and deep until around 3000 then it just roars!

used to pop and bang wicked even the odd flame i say odd as i never drove it lol
