Funnily enough - I looked at this very model the other day and almost reached for the credit card. Then I realised that both front and back speakers would have to go as well and changed my mind.

For the moment.......

:D

I already did the speakers :D

And the LosAngeles is ordered ;)

Didn't Adrian (Skodi RS) have a similar set-up? I remember he was looking into the 1 GB IBM Microdrive option too.

Ha! So I get the Kenwood you get a Blaupunkt!

Actually what kicked all this off was that I could have got a VW Gamma for

It all came down to the fact that i can't be bothered to run a new data cable thru the car for a changer.

The Blaupunkt has the Multimedia card slot, so that gives me an extra option for more music :)

If i go for a changer later, Blaupunkt do a rather nice 5 Disc job that fits in the spare Din slot under the Head Unit :D

Plus, i can recover some cash by selling the Kenwood :)

I got the Los Angeles MP72.....quality!

Sound quality with my Infinitys 652i is good (too my ear anyway).

The MMC is good; I got a 128M card which can stored around about 40 MP3 tracks (@3.3M each).

Looks nice as well.

Hopefully I'll be getting the 1G Microdrive when I go to Malaysia/Singapore later this year. hopefully I can find it for less than

You'll get caught one of these days!! :D

I suppose you could describe the micro drive as being like the hard drive on your PC.

The only downside of the MMC is that the biggest size is 128M...why Blaupunkt didn't go for SD I don't know. I suppose SD would probably encroach on the microdrive; there's a 512M SD card and I wouldn't think it would be that long before a 1G is available.

Search the web for MMC cards because you can get them fairly cheap......can't remember where I got mine but it cost only

The new toy is fitted, and its

Damn fine alarms those Clifford's - had one on an Audi 90 that I had a couple of years ago.

Have to admit I've never heard of them, but I have heard of the Big Red Dog!!! :D

Clifford are an American company -- but have been in the UK for quite a while now -- quite a big following with I.C.E peoples.
