My turn has finally rolled around. After ordering on 7th November 2013, and waving good bye to my Alfa Mito last week, my Octavia vRS is ready for collection. Even the taxi drivers are conspiring against me this morning - half hour wait until I get to see my new M25 Cruiser.

Car was BW7, although that seems like a lifetime ago. I pick the car up, then have a 40 mile cruise to Guildford where I have to try and do some work.....

I've virtually ordered the same spec car!

I ordered between the 27th and 29th of December though so have a few more weeks left yet (wk17 build).

Where abouts are you? I'm still yet to see one of these on the road.

Mine isnt due till the end of the month and I only ordered the next day!!!

Only kidding. I'm just jealous that you've no hills down there, and folk think living in scotland is cheaper! I'm also jealous you were braver than me on the colour choice!

Nice. If I'd gone for a VRS it would have been in GREEN too.

The thinking man's Audi RS4..... What a fantastic car this is! 60mpg has now dropped thanks to M25 traffic to 53. I've not revved over 3k so it wouldn't 't be fair to comment on performance, but certainly it makes a lot of progress. Very happy with my choice. Seems to be a few Octavia's springing up around Grinny - meteor grey combi vRS round the corner from me also. Make sure you give me a wave if you pass me.....
