rear passenger brake stuck on

Recommended Posts

is there a way to free it to see if it's seized or just stuck without taking the caliper apart? felt like the car was braking on lift off or coasting and checked all 4 discs and that was the only one that was scolding hot....

dont have time for a few days to actually take it apart.....

so after any tips to see what's up

I MOT'd my car yesterday and found the O/S/R caliper seized. Bought a new one from ECP already painted green. Will get it fitted tomorrow

Well problem solved.... took the caliper and carrier off, wound the piston back in which if it was seized I wouldn't have been able to do and the two bolts on the carriers push in and pop out like they should... greased all the bolts put back together and now it seems fine and the brake disk isn't boiling hot and the handbrake holds so seems good to me
