Hi frends;

Last week i bought seat cover. I like to wear them but i fail to remove seat headrests.

In the manual writed as follows:

"front seat headrest can not be removed"

Does anyone have an idea about how to be removed headrest.

> Hold the headrest on the sides with both hands and push it up as
much as you like 'Fig. 44 - ?.

press the headrest down.

> Pull the head restraint all the way out of the seat back (fold the backrest forward for
the rear head restraints).
> Press the release button in the direction of the arrow »Fig. 44 - ? and pull the headrest out.
> To reinstall, push the head restraint down as far in the backrest that you
can hear the lock button engages. ?

I found english manual. English manual is the same with Turkish manual.

I was sorry that the first was in Danish. I can see that in the Turkish manual starting at page 71 Till when you remove the headrest

In the English version it says...

 

Removing/installing

Only the real head restraints may be removed.

• ›Pull the head restraint out of the seat backrest as far as the stop.
• ›Press the locking button in the direction of arrow 1 » Fig. 49 simultaneously
• press the locking button into the opening 2 using a flat screwdriver with a
• width of maximum 5 mm and pull out the head rest.
• › To re-insert the head restraint, push it far enough down into the seat backrest
• until the locking button clicks into place.

 

I suspect the word "real" is a typo and should read "rear"????

Warning!! If you fit seat covers this will interfere with the side airbags which are integral in the seat backs!

Well it was posted 2 and a half years ago
