tmc tuning box or remap?

Featured Replies

which is better for money and for my fabia vrs mk2?

anyone had either of the above? advantages and disadvantages on both?

What age is your car, a CAVE or CTHE Engine.

The TMC Tuning box should be fine, and can be removed easy enough,

and will give much the same increase in bhp as a Stage 1 map.

If you have a Warranty on the car a Remap will invalidate that possibly. *engine/gearbox/drivetrain.*

If you car is late 2012 on and has a CTHE engine, then you will need to find someone to remap it,

i have not heard of one that has been done yet.

I had the TMC unit and really rated it. Big difference over a standard car

Plus sides

Can remove for warranty work.

Sell the box when you move on.

Down side

I didnt have any maybe if I am being fussy it could be a little fiddly to fit one of the sensor plugs
