The dash in that Seat is horrific!

The shot of the cars side by side from the rear is what makes me love my Octy even more, looks the best imho.

Thanks for posting - the Octavia dash layout is second only to the Audi A3 IMO.

I actually did a double take on the golf dash - first thing I saw were the godawful seats and square glovebox and i thought "why are they showing us the 80's GTi dash?" lol.

Are they seriously selling those seat trims again?

Also, random but do the Mk3 air vents not close up tidily like the old ones used to? Not that it really matters but it seems like a backwards step somehow

Yep, they seriously are although in the flash they're not too bad,...

the vents are so dated. My Toledo MkI had the same pattern.

I have to say. I think the golf and octy dashboards are the best looking (and the most similar). The Leon's just doesn't look right (but waaaaaay better than previous) and I can't stand the fashion for the "stuck on" screen look in the audi.

As for the chequered seats, I kind of like them. Do you think they'd be a straight swap?!

The Octy dash looks rather nice but the trim quality is not up to current Audi standards. The A4 I tested felt much better built than my mkIII VRS, even though the VRS dash looks nicer.
