I'm new to the site and here to say hello. I live in Prague with my British registered right hand drive 1999 Felicia and the looks I get from people is amazing, they can't believe what they see. A Skoda with no driver!!! :confused:. I'm thinking of putting a false steering wheel on the left to really confuse them

Why did I bring a Skoda back "HOME" ? Cheap parts and lots of them.

If it's worth my while ordering parts and bringing them back to UK then I have no problem doing it at all. If you tell me what you need and what it costs in UK I can compare the prices here. Part numbers and colour codes I suppose will be needed.

I am busy all this week and on Saturday I am going away for ten days so I will be a while in responding.

Around the first of November I am flying back to London Stansted but I could drive over before if there are a lot of parts to bring.

Prague is a beautiful city and allways has been and will be. I've been here on and off for nine years now and it still impresses me every day.

Hi guys, I'm at desperation stage here. Changed bearings on the car. Ball joints also changed. The threads on my TREs were goosed from getting the busy off, so I bought new ones to replace them. My issue is the jam nuts. I have watched/read pretty much everything that's out there, yet these things won't budge. Tried heat, spray etc. Is it definitely clockwise for both to loosen them off you are looking at the hub from the outside of the wheel arch? Lefty loosey when looking from the insid

Hi new to the site I have just purchased a 2008 superb Laurin and klement edition in dark blue with cream leather 118000 with original wheels athou the wheels need full refurb i think they are diamond cut but maybe someone could correct me could anyone tell me how many were produced in mk1s and are they a rare car I would have preferred the 1.9 as apose to the 2.0 litre but it drives just a good and coud not find this edition in a 1.9 but I don't think they did a laurin klement in a 1.9 tdi but

Generally, i dont like to be one of those people to open up another topic that has been exhausted time and time again, but after extensive research, i really am struggling to find a forum response that matches fully with my issue. I wonder if someone can help me identify the correct OEM product number for a gearbox oil change I am planning. The car is 19 years old and just passed the 50k mile mark and I thought it would be prudent to change the oil when I service it this summer. The trouble I am having is getting any reliable information from online purveyors of oil. I would like to buy original VAG oil. Mine is a 5 speed manual gearbox.
