Just did some work on my daughters Golf GTi and notice a nice bonnet stay(piston type). Anybody know if this will fit an octavia. Any input would be helpful.

I've fitted the Superskoda one on mine.  Works perfectly.

Superskoda one is an awesome piece very solid bracket made of steel fit in half an hour.
