Rear door lock

Featured Replies

Hi folks my passenger rear door lock has packed in,no real problem, was looking on eBay and noticed you can get copy ones for £20-£30,any one fitted one of these or I'm I just better fitting a genuine one?

Have you checked the wiring between the door and car isnt broken?

Yeah wiring has been checked,it's definitely the door lock unfortunately.

That's not bad mate, think I paid around that price from a skoda breakers near me for a used unit. Can't say if a copy one will be any good though I'm afraid as mine was genuine vag part.

I`ve had to replace all 4 of my door locks over time, and used ebay genuine second hand ones every time. Had no problems up to now.
