hi ive just bought a fabia vrs last week cut a long story short had a cold bought the car as i started to feel better :no: MASSIVE SHOCK!!!! the interior smells soooooooooooooo bad of cat **** i was pueking soo if any1 is selling their seats please let me no asap

 

Maybe try a good wet vac/valet before spending out on new seats only to find the carpets smell just as bad.

i have ive had the rug doctor wet/vac on it twice lol and still wont go im in serious trouble lol

lol probably ive tried using urine off but no luck the smell is putting me off driving the car its really bad. i hate cats lol

Change your pollen filter that might be gunked up and giving off a bad smell. If not take it to a professional car detailer and get them to go at it.

Not sure what I was watching, but I seen a vid on you tube where they bought a car that stank, and it turned out to to an open tub of rotting Vaseline under the seats! 

So yea, check under your seats lol

As above its Ammonia from a neglected cabin filter. Easy fix, swap filter.

After changing the pollen filter, get a big ol' tub of Bicarbonate of Soda. Apply very liberally to the carpets and seats, leave overnight to absorb any residual stinks and vacuum up.

Also check and clean out the drainage scuttle under the windscreen wiper trim. Rotting wet leaves make a fair old stink.

Take a smell of the back seat carpets.

When my back doors leaked, the carpet used to smell awful. I had to unbolt the front seats & Rug Doctor the entire car.

MY L&K smelled of dog... i used a rug doctor over and over and over then used the enzyme smell remover stuff. But I did it on hot days so it dried. dont let it stay damp, thats probably why it smells of cat... its left wet.

had the same problem,doggy smell.i tried everything,& i'm afraid the only solution in the end was to replace the carpets,(or whatever it was they were weeing over!)
