I too took the wifes VRS to the dealer for its third service, I too had an absolute blast in it and I have to say I also got 33mpg.

I agree with you! I only planned to keep mine for two years but two and half years later I'm still pleased with it.

I had an estate monte yesterday as a courtesy car. As fantastic a car it is, it doesn't compare to the vRS I'm afraid.

When you really get your foot down hard and are on it blasting along with the paddles the car really does come alive.

Aren't they called Monte Carlo owners :rofl:
