Had to take the vRS to the garage today and was able to have a bit of fun on the way; it really does have some serious punch for a 1400cc motor! And despite this hooligan behaviour the computer was still showing 33mpg at the end. It certainly does put a smile on your face.

I too took the wifes VRS to the dealer for its third service, I too had an absolute blast in it and I have to say I also got 33mpg.

I agree with you! I only planned to keep mine for two years but two and half years later I'm still pleased with it.

Took mine on an little road trip to Wales today. Was nice to give her a proper spanking compared with the dreary commuting.

Serious love for this car. The engine really is cracking. She deserves a good wash tomorrow :-)

I had an estate monte yesterday as a courtesy car. As fantastic a car it is, it doesn't compare to the vRS I'm afraid.

When you really get your foot down hard and are on it blasting along with the paddles the car really does come alive.
