Ordered my Citigo October 5th, delivery was 6th march. Been driving the car for three weeks now, and not done many miles, and has always been driven at low RPM to maximise fuel consumption.

Increasingly noticed that the stop/start technology has been turning off before I even set off on my journeys, but blamed it on outside conditions - I am aware that it checks a large variety of parameters before letting the greentech engine operate the stop/start.

However, yesterday, the check engine warning light came on - so called my dealer, who told me to phone roadside assistance. When I did so, they told me to take it to my garage as I *should be* okay to drive it through. I phoned them back, got through to someone else who sent out a VW group assistance mechanic, who said there was a fault reported from before I had the car.

It was cleared, and the light has come back on today.

RAC said that there's a brake vacuum system malfunction, and the brake booster pressure sensor has a malfunction. They are advising that the dealer take it and look at it.

More than a little bit annoyed that after waiting more than 5 months for my car, it only took three weeks for the first issue to come up.

Anyone else had problems like this with their citigo?

Id bring it straight to dealer, and tell them sort it or replace it...
