Hi All,

I just want to start off by thanking you for the help I've already recieved from this forum. Anytime I google a fault with the car, this site almost always pops up first!

 

I drive a 2005 Octavia Mk2 Estate 1.9TDi Ambiente. In fact all the cars I've driven in the past 12 years have had this engine!

Golf, Mk1 Octavia, Passat, VW Transporter and now my current Octavia.

 

My Octavia is starting to get on a bit now though so I might be on here looking for more assistance as parts bite the dust!

I commute 100 miles a day. Glasgow to Edinburgh and back. So although the car doesn't take a beating things are starting to wear out! Now touching 150k miles.
