Hi all some advice please, when I change gear from 2nd to 3rd at high speed it crunches into 3rd it's also does it going into fith but not as bad, does this mean the gear box is f@@ked, or is there cables or do adjustments to sort this problem, any advice or help greatly revived.

112000 mate it doesn't do it when changing gear normal

hmm may just need adjustments mate

It stopped my reverse gear from crunching

If the adjustment doesnt fix it your looking at worn synchro's.

Gearbox oil change with some redline mt90 may help it. Or you'll be looking at reconned box.

Its not the end of the world and you can get round it by double-clutching.

I.e clutch down and change to neutral. Then clutch back down to select 3rd or 5th

Most cases linkage sorted this out.

 

Specially it it is happening on the top gear changes like 1st, 3rd and 5th

 

So hopefully a cheap fix..
