Has anyone had this problem?

 

When I receive a phone via the Bluetooth connection I sometimes only get the phone number appear and not the name of the caller, even when the name is in the car phone directory.

 

Has anyone experienced this and could I have a suggestion as to how to resolve this problem.

 

My car is a L & K facelift estate and my previous superb always showed the name if it was known to the system and just the number if the caller was not known.

 

 

 

Have you tried playing around with the settings in the Maxidot display? I'm pretty sure that you get the option of changing where the stored numbers are pulled from; either phone memory or SIM card, or both.

 

Might not work, but worth a try! Good luck.

I believe there is an option to update the phone book in the menu options. This may force it to update the phone book correctly with names rather than just numbers.

Failing that, delete the pairing and start again from scratch.

Usually caused by a double entry for that name and number. 

The system can not know that they are identical and which one to display.

Check phone entries and do what dstev says.
