So, prosports and droplinks, have I bought the wrong ones? They are a good 2 inches short. On the left side(this one) the roll bar sits right on the bottom bit. On the other side it has a gap. Standard droplinks are too long, these I bought appear too short.     What have I done wrong now........

 

 

prosports = merc vito van drop links... did you get vito d/links?

After more searching it appears either the thread was wrong or the link changed. 

 

Only used one so at least I can take the other back, reserved the correct ones. 

I was going to say either wrong ones or you have not installed Prosport strut to the bottom of hub deep enough?

 

But seems you have got it sorted

Now I can't drop the hub enough on the offside as the arb is in the way and the spring compressors won't fit in enough. going to have any disconnect it I think.....

Sounds like you are having a bit of a mare

Its a learning experience.  Dont have a history of mechanical work, if it doesnt have a keyboard attached I struggle.......

Remember to drop the drop link the other side too buddy as the ARB will not move enough if it is still connected one side

ITS BLOODY WELL OUT! 

 

Disconnected arb both sides, drop links already off, got enough extra play to hammer,swear and jimmy it out.  Good time to attempt to fit the superpro arb bushes I think!

All done!      Cheated a bit with the arb bushes by using longer bolts, might go put the originals in once it beds in a bit.

 

Just gotta raise the back a bit and its all gravy.
