Engine bay colour scheme

Featured Replies

Right then, trying to decide what colour I want to go with the rocker cover, inlet manifold, hoses, etc etc.

Looking at a lot of hoses, it seems blue, red, and black are the cheapest.

The car is yellow. Would blue or red look odd? I think black would look too standard.

I need some pictures for inspiration!

Check out the project threads. Some stunning engine bays there. Group1rs has a stunning engine bay

I'm a fan of gun metal grey!

Yellow, red and blue sounds good to me...

On a yellow car all black could be nice with a yellow rocker

Or could do rocker etc black and loads of blue hose

Well i suppose it would be rude not to

Its good to see peeps putting so much love into their mk1's at the mo! ;-)

If you have a yellow car. Get your rocker cover and inlet powder coated yellow. Then all black hoses. Would look awesome.

yellow rocker and inlet.. black or blue hoses.. same as what im doing to mine then gloss out any plastic trims..

Yellow rocker sounds cool on a yellow car. Although black wrinkle would be cool too(only as I have a spare one for sale:))
