Felicia exhaust

Featured Replies

It's nearly mot time and the exhaust looks very tacky. There are no holes and it's not blowing but I want to replace it anyway.

Are there and differences in the layout between 1.3 and 1.6? Dia and and fittings too? Also would a 1.9 diesel one fit? Has it been done before?

Petrol models 1.3 & 1.6 both have a 42mm system but the fitment at the front where it joins the differs slightly, 1.3 model has a bolt on flange fitting at the cat,

1.6 system has a slip joint or sleeved fitting dependant on manufacturer, karius ones have a plain end and use a double ended sleeve, bosal ones have a slip joint, but basically that is the same thing in all

diesel model has a 50mm system up front which has a double end clamp thing to join to the downpipe, the size steps down to 45mm at the rear box on the hatchback models, but is 50mm end to end on the pickup

shape is the same and all the hangers are in the same place but the length of the pipe at the front varies to suit cat/downpipe fitment, diesel system will go on no troubles, you will just need to adapt the front pipe slightly or add a bit on with a straight but of pipe/reducer. The 2" system (50mm) us suitable for anything upto about 150bhp
