Single knock when starting or accelerating suddenly

My Octavia Vrs has 151,000 on the clock and just recently has developed a knock.

An obvious single knock when starting which is more prominent when cold, this also happens when accelerating suddenly or when parking stopping sharply.  Also on cobbles or raised painted lines.

Does anyone have ideas please.
