Well blokes, contrary to my run of luck, the vRS went through her first MOT in my hands and passed...

 

2 tyres advised which I'm changing tomorrow

And 

Off side track rod slight play

Nearside inner track arm slight play..

 

These have been changed already on my driveway both sides complete items both inners and track rods... That's just me lol

 

So I do take a lot of credit for today's pass, because with everything I've changes since I've owned it January this year..  there is no way it would have passed the way the last owner gave to me!!!

As he tried to kill this car off by driving her into the ground. Then I came along and saved her

Mate, if you'd booked her in as it was in January, it wouldve exploded all over the road on the way down to the test centre, like a cartoon clown car

or a motorized "Bucking Bronco"

 

Delighted she passed her test for ya first time round

Snap mate mine just passed today only advisory for my fly eyes and the em light on result.

Your luck had to change sometime mate, also everything's new so shouldn't fail.

always good passing with just a couple of wee things noted mine just needed rear bushes on the wishbones to pass a month ago  

 

just remembered you were having problems with your boost? just wondering if you ever sussed it out?

There is no test for the gearbox lol.. 

It doesn't feel as smooth as my other one though. So I will be swapping it with Dave's I think

Maf sensor mate I'm 90 percent sure.. I am running it unplugged at the mo because mines completely shafted.!!

New one next week 

And what problems haven't I experienced since owning this car hahaha 

soundo bud! that's still something i have to replace! last time i had it unplugged, the traction control light came on the dash and stayed on til i plugged it back in! let me know how ya get on!

You should run vagcom live and it will tell you if maf is dead.. mine was not nudging figure wise! And reading very low at that

I don't have vag-com handy, but i have Torque Pro on my phone, i haven't tried to see what the maf values are yet, so i guess i should give it a go!
