Sealing an alloy wheel scratch

Featured Replies

Was a right muppet as I was putting my Alloys back on, used my torque wrench on the bolts first time but didn't realise there was an exposed rivet of some kind and wasn't using an extension so the clearance was very tight. I managed to put a rather nasty 1cm long gouge on the spoke of one alloy, right down to the metal. Doh!! This was one of the factory fresh new ones I had under warranty last year too.

Anyway my question is what is going to be the best way of sealing this so it doesn't corrode and bubble? A clearcoat pen? White touch-up kit? Nail varnish??

Clear coat will seal it to keep water out.
