What a lovely day.......absolutely perfect for seeking out a freshly cleaned car to shoite all over.....and let's go for the easy target;  yeah that shiny blue one over there with a lot of surface area.

Grrrrrrrrrrrrr   :wall:  :@   :wall:   :@

And if that wasn't bad enough, this nasty little farker has clearly eaten something that didn't agree with it and looks to have included a phenomenal amount of grit

Not satisfied with the ingredients of this situation being bad enough.  I have well and truly indulged the cretinous side of my brain by flicking off a large, drying lump of the stuff.  And managed to scratch my bonnet in the process.  Oh for goodness sake  :wonder:  :wonder:

I swear, if there was a way of tracking down the culprit I'd return the noxious substances from whence they were jettisoned.

What I don't get is if the local fowl can get my cars so regularly, why isn't the planet bird poo coloured?

And today started off so well.

Grumpy Gaz.

I feel for you, the first time I've ever cleaned a car properly and it gets it's second ever bird poo on it, and its third, and fourth. That's right, this car has now had 3 times as many bird poos in the 1 week it's been clean than in the other 6 months and 1 week of ownership!

I keep some Auto Glym wipes in the car, I think they are a fiver for a box of 10 (Most Halfords sell them), they are just the thing for removing bird attacks, you can do it straight away so the lime doesn't start eating into the paintwork.

Lidl baby wipes,  they smell nice to

I just use a wad of kitchen towel soaked in water and applied to the offending dollop, leaving it to soak and soften it up. It is then simply a question of pinching the wad of towel between fingers and thumb and lifting straight off, leaving no scratches.  The sooner it can be done following the deposit, the better, but plenty of wetting is the key to ensure that it is wet and soft.

I tend to saturate the bird muck with APC (with a MF towel to stop the APC going all over the car) then gently wipe off with a MF towel, works for me.

I'm so glad to see my car is not the only bird poo magnet out there.. had the car 6 weeks now and I can't remember a day going by without it getting bombed! Just what do these birds eat? it's disgusting...! and I'm not looking forward to blackberry season !!

I use a microfibre cloth soaked in the hottest water possible put over affected area leave for a min then wipe off
