Hi all, does anyone from the Southampton area have a list of a couple of good VAG independent garages in Southampton.

 

I am not from the area and it would be good to know who is trustworthy and knows what the end of a spanner looks like ;)

I'd take a short trip down the M27 to Porstmouth and use JKM. http://www.jkm.org.uk/indexmotor.htm They are also a forum sponsor.

 

Used them a few times and always top work  :thumbup:

    agree with Jack - I use JKM for everything including tuning, awesome service and very knowledgable too. I drive from Basingstoke to them to get the work done, and still think it's worth the journey :)

    I found them reasonably priced and very professional but can't comment too much as only been there the once!

    Abtech gave me a crappy 1.2 Ibiza as a discourtesy car when I went there for a cambelt/ waterpump change with a brake fluid change and service. Not pleasent to deal with either. Kate and Jim at JKM will get my next big work. Also, Kate's a pleasure to deal with and is pretty fit too :giggle::blush:

    Independants in Chandlers Ford aren't too bad either.
