Auto tilt n/s wing mirror

Featured Replies

Well as we know skoda is part of the vag group so this might work ?, I've had my golf for just over 2 years and never realised that this was a feature on electric door mirrors :) , so if you've got leccy mirrors and you never checked , well go check it ! , turn switch driver side to L on the mirror adjuster and select reverse then with the switch put the mirror down to a position where you can see the kerb , then take car out of reverse and put the mirror adjuster to the "0" position and the wing mirror will automatically go into its proper position( hopefully) , then try it out !

1 move switch to L

2 select reverse

3 wait for it to move

I guess you have never read the manual!

My Octavia does this too.

Manuals no never read them ! I was thinking more on the fabia ? Would they have it ? I reckon they would ,

Don't know about the Mk2 Fabia probably not.....my Mk1 fabia doesn't do it.

But remember the Golf and Octavia is based on the same platform so are 90% the same car......the Fabia is based on the Polo platform and in my experience is more limited in the clever features department!

Mmm possibly let's wait for fabia owners but I recon they may have it ?

The Mk2 Octavia required memory seats to work

The Mk2 Octavia required memory seats to work

In that case only L&K Octavias will have this feature.....I've never owned a non L&K Octavia so never realised this. So I think it's even more unlikely the latest Fabia would have this feature.

My L&K has this feature. The Fabia won't have this as if I remember correctly none of them have the memory seats which are a requirement in the Skoda cars.

But I don't have memory seats either ?

Unfortunately not. Its been discussed before and i think the outcome was that the mk2 fabia doesnt have this feature.

However i shall try it when i next go out in mine :).
