To those with low vrs's

Where do you Jack from at the front? My trolley jack won't go where I normally jack from.

Roll onto some wood mate, then jack it up.

Use a forklift truck...

I use the scissor jack to start it till I can get the trolley jack underneath :)

Good thinking batman. Seems like a lot of hard work just to paint my Callipers haha.

That's why jacking the car is a ball ache now lol.

If you have some cash, buy a low entry jack. If not, just drive up and onto some pieces of wood.

As above, most simple thing ever. A bit of wood. Done it with all my previous cars and still do it with the VRS.

Low entry jack or roll on to wood or widow maker first

Use the jack it came with at the jacking point then support on an axle stand.

I dint usually like using that jack as it's meant for emergencies only. I own a trolley jack which is much better for the job.

I have some wood in the back I'll try that tomorrow.

Thanks guys.

Hmm, I see what you did there.

Lol.

I have come to the conclusion it might be the camber on the road outside my house. The side closest to the kerb isn't as low as the other side? But obv there is no room to get the jack in there.

I'll sort it and get them painted tomorrow. Or Sunday. Or Monday.

No need to brag about having the weekend off! ;)

Some of us are working :(

Is it bad that I understood that?

It's only lowered 30mm on springs so I was surprised it wouldn't fit. I've used other trolley jacks before but this was the first time using my own new one.
