Hello all!

 

Just signed on the line for a new Octavia Elegance Estate in Race Blue Metallic today. I was a bit disappointed that I couldn't order the chrome trim pack for the windows, when it looks like both Ireland and Germany can have them as an option.

 

Anyway black window rubbers will have matching black roof rails so Skoda UK are missing a trick there. Might have to black out the front chrome grill when it arrives, we'll see.

 

Anybody want to give me a 'heads up' on what I might need to expect, or not, with regards to the car or Skoda in particular then please shout.

 

Hopefully I will have my car by the end of June, which doesn't seem too far away!

OK so car now arrived! Had a dent in the tailgate when I went to collect it so have to return Monday to get it repaired! Arse.

First impressions are good. Still need to choose a Yorkshire car detailer to protect the paintwork and get a towbar ordered and then fitted.

And still tempted to 'black pack' the car. I see Skoda are now offering the chrome window trims which I would have loved and ordered in conjunction with the silver roof rails.

Heyho.

Does anyone know if I lower the car it will affect my warranty?
