Suspension

What is the best suspension for Fabia? H&R, Koni, Bilstein or Eibach?

I vote for Eibach :D What do you think?

Fk. :P but I'm biased. I'd go for eibachs from that list. I ran dampers & springs from them for a long time and only got rid to make way for my coilovers.

Jason, do you think it's worth going for just the springs on standard dampers if on a budget or are the dampers really worth the extra dosh and well worth waiting/saving for the whole package. :)

Thanks,

KW's

Having been out in a car with just Eibach springs, and a car with Eibach springs and dampers, I would personally always go with the latter. Plus, if you run standard dampers, you're going to wear them out a lot quicker if you run Eibach springs on them! :D

Chris

well I'm getting eibach springs and dampers fitted soon.............if that helps any

How soon? :P

I'll think about saving for another month.... if only I could make packed lunches for a month or three instead of seeming to spend 20 quid a day on munchies and god knows what...

Next week! :D

Cant wait

hehe, well perhaps not all 20 on food but I always seem to be getting 20 or 30 quid out the damn cashpoint. :(

I work in the city of London and it's surprising how much you can spend on food though. I also work shifts and end up buying lunch on the way in then something in the evening if i'm working till 23:00hrs.

ah say no more, hence why I take food in with me it's cheaper! ;)

Has anyone got any experience with the Eibach coilovers on the Fabia? It says they are for every Fabia from the 1.2 to the vRS from Motorsport World Im not too sure........

PM Devonutopia (Jason) he has them fitted to his.

Think they rate the coilover to 960kg (the front weight needed for a vRS)

Has he got Eibachs? Thought he had FK coilovers (as per his post above ;))

Chris

Oops :o

I think he does have FK :P

Ive looked all over the forum and not seen these coilover kits discussed anywhere  Theyre around 550quid from that website I mentioned, only 100quid more than the normal Eibach suspension kit for the Fabia. So I thought why not go for these instead!!

Im still scratching my head about these coilovers.

I understand how the fronts work, but not the backs  The spring and shock are separate, so how do you get height adjustment at the rear?

Also ive read and saved the how-to guide on fitting the -25mm Eibach springs and dampers Could this be used for fitting the coilovers aswell?

Thanks
