Auto Express 2014 Customer Satisfaction Awards - Skoda 1st, 2nd & 3rd

Featured Replies

I will just mention some of the others in the top tens, or top 5's.

Interesting how things like 'statistics' & owners/drivers responding to a survey get results.

'Road Handling' Winner by category, as an example.

Allround the Citigo is so much better a car than a Up!,Mii obviously.

For those that have mentioned in other threads about Skoda's not been as good value as they used to be (back when the cars were good but the brand remained the butt of jokes) and were struggling to find an alternative...

The MG6 came 6th!

The survey is based on owners opinions of the cars, not automotive testers.

So it's a gauge of how people's expectations measure up to their experience.

So what you see is people buying more budget brands being more impressed than people paying far more for a car that's a bit better in real terms.

Because they have lower expectations.

Except with the Yeti of course, because we all know that's a wonderful car. :)

The 1000 or so in the UK that bought MG6's must quite like them,

or are some of those replying to the survey maybe MG Salespeople.?

Loyalty from UK BASED Chinese perhaps!

Skoda drives often seem to want to prove something and so will write back to say how great their cars are.

Drives with more money tend to think their time is worth more and only write when utterly p*ssed off.

(That or some skoda drives have nothing better to do with their lives) ;)
