Appologies iphone crashed before posting [emoji35].

Question is, can anyone come up with a easy fix or is it case of a trip to dealers.

My VRS Estate has started dropping out the media (mitsumi) port.

On the screen it shows media with line through, even thou power to phone.

Phone plays music through Bluetooth thou.

Frustrating as it's just come out of stealers for a couple of checks.

Do a full factory reset on the infotainment unit - I had no comfort closing on mine after the last software update was applied until I performed a reset.

 

If it still doesn't work you have a problem.

No, reset the entire infotainment unit to factory settings. You will lose preset stations, phone pairings ans navigation history etc. but it may fix the issue. Probably the first thing a dealer will do anyway.

Tried the reset, still no joy [emoji34]

Annoying as it's displays connection through the lead and power to charge the phone.

And now to wind me up, after coming off a call, the volume shuts off on audio.

Oh well call to citygate in the morning.

Try your phone and mitsumi cable with another Octy?

 

It might not be the Infotainment unit that is at fault ......

I've tried my brothers lead from his Fabia on my phone in the Octy with no joy and also his combination with no joy...

Still think a call to stealers in the morning

Really confused  , but have narrowed it down to the Iphone.

 

Tried the Mrs's Iphone 5 on the lead, and the Media port is live

 

Guessing change of Tack and go with the phone settings etc....
