Any idea when we get the L&K???

Personally dont like the standard wheels and the wing badging looks huge and a bit crass.

For me a step too far, the Elegance offers enough standard kit (already better equipped than a MK2 L&K in most respects) and no doubt going to be better value.

I certainly wouldnt want one with brown dash and leather; hope SUK see sense and offer other interior colour combos and not just that one!

Yep, prices live on Skoda's website today.

 

And yet again, the UK market has been stiffed - contrary to the rumours of 4x4 DSG CR184 being available, it isn't.

 

You can have a CR150 DSG or a CR150 4x4, but not a 4x4 DSG.

 

They have introduced the 1.8TSi to the UK market at last though.

Glad I decided to go with an Elegance over waiting for the L&K as the 184ps 4x4 is what I would have really wanted, so what exactly do you get for £4000 over the Elegance? I can't actually find that info as they haven't got it in the latest brochure.

The brochure and configurator don't seem to have been updated yet on the website.

That looks like £4k worth of extras to me

 

Although I would have thought that Columbus would have been standard, but obviously not.

 

Good to see Xenons, LED rear lights, Canton, Park Assist, Lane Assist, Front Assist and Adaptive cruise on there though!

Got most of those on my Elegance order, would have liked the Adaptive cruise control with front assist though. Guessing these won't actually be hitting the roads until late this year / early next year though?

Who knows, it is a tweaked Elegance, so no reason why they should be any different on lead times.

Adaptive cruise was never standard.

I don't think they'll be here very quick as Skoda have just re-open the parts bin lottery with the rest of VAG

 

Well over £4k of extras and unlike up-specing an Elegance, that £4k will still be reflected after depreciation.

 

Great addition to the range and for those that can live with the Diarrhoea interior, some bargins to be had second-hand although I've gotta admit, I couldn't live with the IRA Dirty Protest look myself.

Chrome on a hatch here, the only other one I am aware of on a hatch is DJD66's car. Dealer back door order at the time but afaik the door has been firmly bolted by SUK since last May but maybe if available now on UK spec L&K's a few more may sneak through!

I'm in the dealers on Saturday, so I've asked them to get me the full spec. Having had a L&K before, they hold their value significantly better than an Elegance + options.

 

Be interesting to see if Ivory interior can be specced and what the lead times are.

I would have ordered a new Elegance in October IF I could have had front assist & adaptive cruise, but I couldn't as they pulled them on 4th October as I was about to place my order.

 

The Elegance I was speccing up was close to £30k list price with just about every option on it, with a residual of about £11k from memory.

 

I reckon the same L&K with additional oprions will be about £28k and the residuals will be higher, as it will be a L&K residual, not an Elegance. So, should be less per month and be a better spec car than the Elegance I was looking at ordering in October.

 

All depends how much I have lost on this car between October and when a L&K is likely to arrive I suppose. If I can strike a deal that was around what I was willing to pay in October per month then I might be very tempted to order.

 

I have been paying about £150 less per month to drive round in a very highly specced Elegance in the meantime

Well, I got full winter pack, park assist, 18s, chrome, cornering fogs and sill trims so I recon I'm about half way there!

So what colour goes best with the chrome trims?

 

I'm thinking Combi again this time, I like white, but think the chrome will go better with a darker colour?

 

But also thinking Pano roof, which looks good with a light colour in my opinion.
