L&K?

Featured Replies

Well, you still can't get a quote - VWFS haven't set the GFV's yet!

SUK are pestering them apparently, but VWFS can't even provide when the GFV's will be published and the dealer finance systems updated.

Yep, I tried to order one yesterday and the dealer discovered exactly the same thing!

Don't be put off by the brown interior until you've seen one in the flesh. In the pictures and on the website it looks awful but in the flesh, at least with the Superb anyway, it actually looks great. Certainly much better than it has any right to look!

As a vRS TDi owner I'd be quite miffed if they now offered the L&K with 4x4!

Each to their own... my dad has just got a new Passat estate in 'Autumn Gold' (I think that's what they call brown over at VW), with brown leather interior.

As I keep saying to him, it's not what I'd go for, but there's nothing wrong with it - as long as you're old enough to pull it off :-)

All I'm saying is check out in person rather than relying on the unflattering pictures online.

I have SUK on the case, and to say they are frustrated with VWFS is an understatement.

Perhaps it's an omen to save you from a Retro 70s disaster? I found this link which says 7 out of 10 people wouldn't want it come trade in time!

I thought you liked retro?!!

I didn't say that, words were put in my mouth! I just said I liked a classy mod and started reminiscing about my MkI

Andy, can you let me know how you get on? Think, I'll be onto SUK on Monday too. Was there anyone in particular you spoke to?

I'll drop you a PM when they get it sorted.

1.8TSI gets 7 speed DSG, 2.0 TDI gets 6 speed wet clutch DSG.

4x4 option available only on TDI but not TSI.

Multilink rear suspension available only on TSI but not TDI.

No DSG option on 4x4.

No sport suspension + XDS option on 4x4.

Winter pack again listed as "not available" on TSI, probably the old heated screen misconfiguration strikes again, since it's available on vRS.

That brown half trim is absolutely shocking. Probably the worst choice of colour in Skoda history.

But the 4x4 TDI does get multi link rear suspension at the lower trim level. I would also assume that if there's a 2wd 184bhp version that should also get multi link.

Doesn't look like UK will get 184bhp version of TDI, only 148bhp/150PS on the lists :(

I think it was said the higher powered version would be available later.

What I find interesting is that the diesel is a little bit cheaper than the petrol.
