I used to have a Unit called an AmD One Click on my Fabia vRS Mk1

It was reliable and gave a good map (165 bhp) which could be reversed to standard in seconds by plugging the unit back in

They relocated in later years so don't know what they're like these days

were these the same people as amd from oxford?

If its 'the' amd then I have heard good reviews. All from audi drivers and vw drivers. Not sure if it is that company though.

AMD in Essex is the tuner that also races (or used to race?) in the BTCC.

 

In reality they are a tuning company like any other (IMO) selling/fitting parts from suppliers like Milltek and providing maps.

They have been trading for quite a while.
