Do you have recommendations on where to get workshop manuals?

 

I bought ElsaWin on ebay containing two discs.

A installation disc and a data disc.

This was for my VRS MK II

In the auction it said it was a English only.

But i only managed to get it installed with the german language.

 

I had also bought a disc on ebay for the MK I just as a comperison.

The disc contained pdf files only and works fine!

Wouldn't mind being able to buy a pdf disc for the MK II.

 

I do my own repairs as many of you do. A good shop manual would be nice to have.

 

At the moment I have the Haynes Owners Workshop Manual.

 

Have you bought a hassle free ElsaWin from ebay?

Any sellers recommended?

The Ebay ones are not legal. Bentley do a manual for the Golf which is similar mechanically.

I paid skoda for a couple of hours of online access to the workshop manuals, and saved them all as PDF files. Can't see why anyone wouldn't do that.

I mainly use this site. Annoying popup but has loads of info.

I'd open the CD in windows explorer and see if there's an English instal version, most CD have varous installation options set by language.

Does anyone know if you can get a Haynes book for 2011 1.4 TSI petrol, as I cant find anything..

Just buy an hour of Erwin access and save the PDFs.  Totally legit and you will have the latest official workshop manuals, as used by the dealerships.  Cost me 5.95euros to get all the Skoda Superb manuals.
