ba just been looking on carphonewarehouse at these talk for ages, pay for 3 deals...18 months, sneaky blighters.

Anyhow, it's time for my p900 to hit ebay, I just don't use it anymore since I got the pda and tom tom etc...

So thinking of the somthing diddy, saw the razors ages ago, but short battery life = no use to me.

Then the Nokia 8800 took my eye, but then I hear alot of people mention that the SE 750i is good...

Well I've been on Erricson and vodaphone since about '97, so no need to jump either ship really.

Any cracking deals I can extract for "upgrading" I've no problem dropping my number to pay as you go/forward it and a new contract.

So anything amazing...

I talk more than text, in fact I can say I've sent mo more than about 20 texts in 4 years.

So Fire away all you bargin hunters...

pps presently on anytime 60, but I will have a 30 to 40 bill each month because I natter on.

vodafone online have the best deals, i think

look for the best deal then go to the people you want to use and tell them to match, they pretty much always do :)

Do you not pay for forwarded calls from a PAYG?? In which case it could be a costly move. I have a contact - I'll PM you.

Went for T mobile to get my hands on a razr V3 phone.

Stuck for 18 months with them now and bored with the phone.Gone back to nokia old one.Never again.I like to change phones often.

Saw the new sony ericcson with nice camera.Very very nice

Stu, I meant more in the form of setting a voice mail message or other options, will read carefully ;)

Converting existing to payg is only one option, if the "new customer" cough deals are better.

It's a silly thing really but new contracts nearly always prove to be better deals as the retailers get more subsidy, I can only assume it's to do with subscriber numbers in the great netwrok war.

I would have thought it better to let people keep their numbers myself, save issuing so many.

Aye, well I got my 30 minutes behind the carphone warehouse computer when they asked me if I wanted to pick a number...

I guess they could not possibly of known my reaction :D

I used to buy numbers from ebay, normally on a PAYG sim and then port it across. I was always on Orange and they wouldn't let you choose a number.

Not sure about the upgrade prices, but Vodafones 3g deals are good at the moment.

Anytime 500: 500 xnet minutes, 100 texts, 50 video minutes and until the end of August: unlimited Football, film traqiler and news downloads until the end of the contract

i just got a 6680 :)

If you don't want a new handset but want cheap calls, you can get yourself a BT contract for 12 months which is a SIM only one (need to have an unlocked mobile).

But the benefits are: 150 cross network minutes, any time with rollover minutes. 50 texts a month all for the modest price of
