As per title, what's a rough guide to the life expectancy of a high quality sports cat e.g. Piper, milltek etc? Looking at the possibilities of 2nd hand but also considering buying something that's going to give me issues at mot time if it breaks down.

Anyone with experience of this?

Should last as long as standard cat as no long as you have no probs with your car over fueling, got Miltek on mine only thing that went wrong was the flexi bit broke, all credit to Miltek though they repaired it for free
