Only slight problem so far is that the missus keeps humming the postman pat theme:-)

Enjoy your new car it looks great . The pid didn't come with my car and I was told it's the way they do it now as when they came through with the car they used mysteriously disappear .

Hopefully Postman Pat can deliver my PID unit and mats next week. Car has gone down well with todays pupils, all of them preferring it to the Rio, especially with respect to visibility from the drivers seat. I have put about 150 miles on it since collecting it last night and am very impressed by the refinement, ride and general feel of the controls. On the downside, there is not as much internal storage as the Rio had (the Rio glove box was so deep I always felt like I should have been wearing a kong vets glove when reaching for stuff in its depths) so I need to figure a way of keeping all my teaching stuff cleanly organised.

That rear shot is an odd angle, just having a play with a new lens.

Glad your pupils like the car,I love taking car photo's i wish I could have found a red Citigo, but needed to swap quickly so I bought a preregistered in silver leaf metallic which changes colour as the light changes .

have any of your pupils discovered if they stall it and are quick enough with the clutch it restarts automatically :)

I have only managed to stall the wifes 1 where it did not restart without me having to turn the key

None of today's pupils stalled it, which is pretty good seeing as they have all been driving diesel since their first lessons.

Chris

it suprisingly easy to drive isn't it Chris? I'm suprised (considering the massively low running costs, combined with comfort) that there aren't more driving school citigo's!

I was sharing a car park with an instructor in a Mii today and there is a guy using an Up around here too. Still slurping its way through the first tank, so no idea on fuel use yet. Biting range seems to be about a mile wide. So far, really pleased with it.

First tank 54.2mpg. Impressive, likely to drop one run in mind.
