Sounds a bit tappy / knocky need advice

Hi,

 

Today I test drove a 1.6 diesel hatchback. To me it sounded a bit tappy / knocky or do you think I could be going over the top?

Nearly new, or well used, high miles, what were you test driving ???

2010 1.6 diesel hatchback elegance 36k on the clock

 

1 lady owner but had a towbar fitted in 2012 with a maximum weight load of 75kg.

Oil level?

Its just had an Oil change!

 

However it is 4 years old and if Iam correct at 4 years or 100k it needs a cambelt change that the direction Iam going at the moment.
