Recommended Posts

Hi guys. Job for today is debadging the rapid. My planned technique is clean. Heat with hairdryer and use dental floss...

Anyone have any useful pointers? This is my first time....

Also have this stuff...

Yeah I don't think I like the new 'font' Skoda now use for the rear badges.. The sport definitely looks better without..

I'm quite tempted to remove the black number plate frame on mine that says the dealers name and contact details - The front plate doesn't have one....

I'm thinking of number plate surrounds such as these....

i like the debadging idea.

the only thing is that you will have to have some body work done, after u remove the Skoda badges, to even out the surfaces

I'm not planning on removing the skoda badge just the lettering. Makes a big difference I think and is quick, cheap and easy to do.

OK, got it !

i had the letters removed when i had the roof wrapped up in black vinyl.

pretty straightforward for the body shop guy. IMHO it adds a much cleaner look

Any pics of the wrapped roof?

I'm popping round to the guy who does the signs on our vans to see what he can do with the chrome on the front grille
