Combi load cover clip.

Featured Replies

Came home from a shopping trip today to find that one of the spring clip things that stop the load cover retracting has gone missing, assumed broken. Firstly does anyone know how to remove the trim on the side of the boot to gain access to it? And can you get replacement ones as they do seem a bit fragile.

I am of course refering to the superb estate.

The hook No. is 3T9 868 280 4K1 for ivory and 9B9 for Black - cost c.a. 1,3 GBP

To remove the trim it's a bit of work - first remove pillar D cover, unscrew 2 torx, then remove the bottom cover 3 screws (near the spare wheel), then side trunk covers - 1 screw each, then rear side airbags covers - 1 nut on bottom and then top cover 5 screws. When You do it, you can remove side cover - 1 screw. Minium 15 minutes of work.
